I’ve been spending my Semestral break visiting the mall as often as I could for I will surely miss it when schooling resumes. It’s nice to see that Powerbooks at SM Megamall has been renovated to cater more conducive and free book readings. They already have this read and tell section (RATS!!! haha) where you can slump to read the book of your choice. It is bigger compared to the old one, very inviting to any book worm. I just wonder how the store manages to cater such service without asking for payments from the customer? ??
So I was trying to find a nice book to finish in three hours. I was planning to read a short novel but instead grab the “Dating Clues for the Clueless: God’s Word in Your World (Clues for the Clueless)”. I try to hide the book title from people in the RATS (ashamed that they might look at me as a desperate single).
You can Google for the book to see what it looks like.
The book has a bunch of advice to give to people that may or may not be new to the dating world. It tells the do’s and don’ts on your date, 52 (innovative) ideas on dating, etiquette in dating and other essentials. The cover of the book tells what its entertaining contents. Well, I have enjoyed reading the book. You might want to examine the book yourself or purchase it if you want…

Today I am turning 20 when the clock strikes 10:55pm. I was lucky to be born 1hour and 5minutes before the actual Halloween celebration (a sigh of relief). I have to confess that I feel so different now that the tens digit of my age changes its number from 1 to 2. Yesterday I was pondering on what to do today. I actually don’t have any plans other than to spend a lazy time at home. I woke up 7:30 this morning, do my usual routine and then went to Pasig Cathedral.
Since I am not the friendliest person in the block only a few people knows that today is my birthday. They are absolutely clueless. I find that good for I am not obliged to prepare a “feast” for them. But I also find that unamusing because it only proves how appalling my behavior is towards them (my relatives).
I do not expect any visitor since I did not invite anybody. I also do not expect anything special to happen today for I have not expected one sine I was born. I never loved the idea of celebrating with guest that only shows up because there is food. I only wanted to feel at peace with myself, evaluate my past attitude and then accept the fact that some of my cells would be altered again. I don’t know how other people spend their birthdays these days; you might want to share yours. I’d be glad to read yours… ^_^
